Embracing the Invisible: Inspiring Hope
I hope this message finds you well and grounded in the work we’ve done together. As you continue to journey through the healing process, I want to encourage you to reflect on a beautiful passage from 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
This scripture resonates deeply with the work you’ve done, rewriting the story of past traumas and focusing on the hope and renewal you’ve created within your mind’s screen. It’s a reminder that while the pain you once saw or felt may still try to distract you, the unseen transformation you’ve cultivated is far more powerful and enduring.
I want to share a personal story that underscores this truth. My mother, Hope, in the final stages of her life, suffered from dementia. She could no longer remember who I was, yet she never forgot who God was. She often raised her hands to the sky and sang hymns she had cherished her entire life. Though her body and mind were frail, it was as if her spirit knew she was in the presence of God.
At her funeral, as those who loved her gathered, had witnessed something extraordinary, she never forgot who Jesus was. They shared stories of them witnessing her sing and light up at the name of Jesus. Her frailty no longer mattered; the light of her connection to God shone brightly. It was a beautiful reminder that while the outward, visible things fade, the unseen—faith, love, and spiritual connection—endures.
In the same way, the unseen work you’ve done—renewing your mind, transforming your perspective, and anchoring yourself in hope—is an eternal treasure. I encourage you to keep focusing on that renewal, knowing that it’s not only changing how you feel today but also building something enduring within you.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. I’m deeply proud of the work you’ve done, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
In His Service,
Gabby Rodriguez
